  • This is a wonderful little hike (under 5 miles) up a mountain with a great view point (the NORTH spur view is best) and further on good southern views.  more »
  • This place is really far north but so worth the drive. The views are just amazing. Lake Willoughby is crystal clear! I plan to come back to spend more time!  more »

  • Beautiful mountain to hike, but, be warned, it is quite steep on the way up!!! We're in good shape and had to take several breaks. Having hiking poles would certainly be beneficial! It took us about 3h up and back, with a lunch break at the top! Great scenic views all the way up, anticlimactic summit...Worth continuing a bit past the end of the South Trail towards the North lookout to take great pictures!
  • Great hike that I found through AllTrails. Starts off easy and gets steeper roughly half way in. There are a few view points along the way which make the hike very enjoyable. Once you get to the rocky peak, make sure you keep going to the other view points on the north trail. Don’t worry one you start going down, the best view points are coming up! Roughly 3 hour hike. Dogs should definitely be on a leash due to the cliffy nature. Don’t bring a dog that pulls while on a leash.
