    A great way to take in the scenery and get some exercise. Easy parking and access. We saw mergansers and herring gulls. Pleasant walk with some historical facts along the way.

    I loved the peaceful feeling and the spectacular evening view of the sunset. I did notice a sign that said "No dogs allowed" I also noticed the beach was full of dogs just passed that sign. 😂 I must say, I've never seen so many bits and pieces of broken shells in my entire life, do not try to walk barefoot on this beach, unless your feet are seasoned.

    Has replaced Bluff Point as my favorite walk in SE CT. Easy access from anywhere in town (you're going here to walk, right?). Parking at access points is tight during the summer. Nice 2 mile out and back or loop through Niantic villagne. The loop has sidewalks most of the way, only a little hairy by the transmission place. The boardwalk is wide and concrete with lots of benches. Good views.
