  • I like that the beach is clean. There are VERY few rocks when walking out to the deeper water. Maybe just a little mass of seaweed. Someone did say they got stung by a jellyfish but I did not see...

  • Great state park to visit and camp in. It's affordable to rent a site, with plenty of amenities like water spouts, trash/recycle, toilets, and showers within reasonable distance of camp sites. Easy walkable and drivable access to the beach with a soft sand beach. Fishing and crabbing in the salt marshes and off the beach and jetty. Also an easy hike to a cool little cave. Overall a great state park and fun place to camp with family and friends. Quick drive under 10 minutes to get to local stores in case you forget anything for your trip.
  • Beautiful beach and campground. It has an impressive shelter built in 1935. Great place to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The restrooms were still open in the main campground but the one by the beach was closed for the season.
