Beautiful campground and a beautiful lake. We went too early in the season so we weren’t able to get out on the lake, but the hiking trails around the campground are well maintained and fun to explore. The campground itself is quite large, but we were pleased with the pristine conditions and while we were there during a holiday weekend, noise level was low and all were respectful. Bathrooms were also very clean and well maintained. This has definitely moved to the top of our list in terms of campsites and we will definitely be returning!

We loved our stay at this beautiful park. This was the cleanest State Park campground we've ever visited. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the bathrooms are very clean and functional. The lake water was crystal clear and perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming if you don't mind the cold. Be warned that the swimming area will get very crowded on hot summer days. The rest of the lake however is very quiet since there is a limit on powered boats. I had read some people complain about road noise from i-90, but we stayed on the lake side of the loop with hookups and it wasn't really noticeable. It's just the sort of far off droning hum of traffic that your brain easily tunes out. It was a little bit louder on the side of the loop closest to the highway, but it still wouldn't deter me from staying there. We will absolutely be back!
