Rock Eagle 4-H Center is located north of Eatonton, Georgia, adjacent to the Oconee National Forest. With nearly 1,500 acres of forested land, including a 110 acre lake, Rock Eagle is a natural meeting site away from everyday life.

Opened in 1955, Rock Eagle is the largest of five centers operated by the University of Georgia as support for the state's 4-H Program. Thousands of young people annually participate in the Georgia 4-H Environmental Education Program, as well as the Summer Camping Program; made available through Georgia's County Extension Offices.

People from around the state attend competitive events, conferences, and rallies at Rock Eagle. Civic, religious, and business groups utilize Rock Eagle 4-H Center for their conferences and meetings as well.

  • It's a very fun place, and the food is mostly amazing. The people are great. The only thing is that you have to walk through the woods to get to the dining hall and the canteen from cabin 8 for example. Though you could use the road it's much longer and uphill. But besides that, the memories made are amazing
  • Been there for a 4H club activity. Nice place with ample rest rooms. Lot of open space for kids to play. Bring bats and balls to enjoy outdoor activities
