    We happened upon this very unique site when we decided to explore the finger. Built before the war of 1812. The descriptive signs telling the history of the fort were well done and informative.

    This is an excellent historic site with great information along with a well preserved fort. There are also great views of the water. This also makes a great picnic spot.

    What a wonderful place. Love seeing forts and defense sights. This is a great preserved site and representative of the time period. I loved the view and the palisade. You can walk straight to the water and had a nice open accessed park with good picnic sites and view. Great place for lunch or family and not far from the main road. Very entertaining.

    There's not a lot to see, but it is a beautiful area none the less. We experienced one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL orange sunsets. The camera couldn't capture how orange unfortunately. A cute couple decided to picnic on the rocks there. I can totally understand why!
