Wildlife West Nature Park provides a very special look into the animals and plants that are part of the ecosystems of New Mexico and the Southwestern United States. All the birds and animals at Wildlife West Nature Park are nonreleasable, in keeping with our philosophy of bringing education to the public without harming ecological balances in other parts of the region. Our habitats are designed to provide the best possible combination of viewing opportunities and harmonious living for our residents, and our animal enrichment programs ensure that our animals are both physically and mentally healthy.Wildlife West Nature Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.
Wildlife West Nature Park provides a broad range of educational opportunities that reach far beyond traditional zoos, hosts numerous local events and festivals, presents concert series, and includes a catering operation with one of the area's best covered amphitheater facilities and a second, fully-enclosed entertainment venue. Our music festivals have become a major regional attraction, drawing acts (and attendees) from all over the nation. The Park's xeriscaping and water harvesting operations provide a real-world example as to how sustainable design can enhance any environment. We invite you to browse our site and learn more about Wildlife West Nature Park - and, of course, to visit us at any time of year!

I loved it being a wild life zoo ! The animals in the exhibit were in good health , especially for the heat of the summer experience. The trail was for the most part easy to follow and self explanatory. However, you could see how time has passed the facility by and some areas need slight improvements, just for scenic sake. The gift shop had typical items for sale. I personally purchased 2 wildlife postcards.
Amazing! I love this place. The owners really care about the animals, they host all sorts of events, and it's just fun to walk around all the trails. I live locally, and make it out a couple times a year, but if you're just passing through, and want to stretch your legs and see some cool animals, this is the place to go. P.S. the Bobcats are super cute and will play with you through the fence (I probably shouldn't say that).
