  • Super fun place for kayaking, canoeing, or any non-motorized watercraft. The facilities are really clean and the staff are very professional and friendly. The cost is minimal and there is ample parking and plenty of shelters and shade. The grills are clean and the volleyball court is well maintained. The water is pretty shallow in the "swim area" but enjoyable non the less. Yes, the water is brown, but it is clean and surprisingly doesn't spell bad like some of the smaller lakes, not that this is a tiny lake, it'll still take a solid 30 minutes to cross on a canoe or kayak at a leisurely pace. Oh and they have peddle boats and canoes for rent too. All in all a great place to enjoy the outdoors and play in the water.
  • Awesome state park and lake. Clean well managed. Plenty of space. We were there on a Saturday afternoon! Very few people in the lake swimming and hardly nobody at the grills or picnic areas.
