    A great stop for history buffs and train enthusiasts. The extensive miniature train set fills a huge room and tells the story of the first 13 miles of the B&O. They have replica of the towns along...  more »

    The first rail station in the U.S. The first train traveled from Baltimore to Ellicott (Mills) City. The station shows what life was like back then, the living quarters, the mail and telegraph office, the areas where train cars were worked on - it's all here! And don't forget the holiday train garden coming in December!

    This free museum was surprisingly super fascinating and deserving of a visit. Also deserving of a donation. The tiny train set and real life caboose are fantastic. It's more than worth a visit. Lots of antique stereoscopes with 3d vintage photos. Loved it!
