Cedar Point Environmental Park, Englewood

Love this park. Great trails, county cleaned up trails extremely well after the hurricane. Lots of bird activity, great spots to peak out at the bay and in the middle of the park there is quiet. No noise of boats, cars, or construction. The park connects with Oyster Bay by a great little path under the road. Highly recommend a visit. Visitor center not yet open and a lot of the shade is gone.

What a nice park. Very clean and well maintained. They have a kids play ground, several walking trails, and walking access to the intercoastal waterway. This would be a nice place for a picnic. There are a couple of different picnic areas where the picnic tables are shaded. They have restrooms next to the visitor center.
