Erie Orchards and Cider Mill, Erie

I have gone to this orchard for years first with my children and now my grandchildren. This past Saturday our experience was much less than how I remember the orchard. All of the Erie Orchard employees were crabby yi the point if rudeness. There is no need to treat people this way! $25 for 5 of us to go through the corn maze and we walk up there is no one around and 2 guys yell from a pick up truck which they are sitting in side of"Hey this isn't free put your tickets in The can". Yup we were well aware. The 8 year old with us commented "why is everyone here so crabby?" The donut lady, the maze guys, etc. I told her that I have no idea! If the employees hate their jobs then working with the public is not for them. There are many orchards in our area , I would much rather visit one where people like where they work and have a smile on their faces!

Went there this morning for a field trip with my gradeschool children and had an absolute blast! The kids LOVED picking their own fruit, feeding the goats(at least trying to - the goats weren’t so into a bunch of rowdy kids trying to feed them & I don’t blame them 🤣), and playing on the playground. And the staff was so kind! They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy 😁 Definitely one of my favorite trips we’ve taken this year, and we’ll definitely be back next year! Thank you to everyone who was there today! Y’all did an awesome job!
