This was an excellent afternoon adventure! It helped that we had a perfect weather day with a nice breeze. But the train trip was just lovely with some very pretty views.. And then the boat trip was just wonderful. Nice and relaxing with good music and good stuff to look at. We were a party of 5 with 2 teenagers visiting from out of state. The 2 teenagers acted too cool for this the entire time but they did actually enjoy it. They liked the snack bar on the boat the best. But us adults really enjoyed the weather and the scenery and the ride. I enjoyed hearing the history of both the train and the river. Bring water bottle.

Awesome experience for any steam train lover. Kids and adults will enjoy the day here. I suggest the 1st class car because of the many signature drinks that they serve. The river boat ride is long and if the weather is nice it adds to an already amazing day.
