The Bagby Hot Springs are natural hot springs located in the Mount Hood National Forest about 67 miles (108 km) southeast of Portland, Oregon, United States and about 98 miles (158 km) east of Salem, Oregon. The springs are within the Cascade Mountains in a heavily forested area at elevation 2280 ft (695 m). The springs are just outside the boundary of Bull of the Woods Wilderness area.

  • Nice hike in, nice soak, but the only complaint I have was the other group that showed up. They were rude and made unnecessary comments about my body. Other than that, it was great. The place could definitely use some TLC though.
  • I am a nudist at heart, and Bagby Hot Springs is a clothing optional state park with overnight campgrounds. The trail is an easy one so long as it hasn't been partially washed be away from the floods and rain. I recommend visiting when there is snow on the ground for the surrealism of the steaming hot water and icey white scenery is magical.
