In 1978, The Muriel L. MacGregor Charitable Trust was formed. In 1983, the Colorado Attorney General's office was instrumental in actions to further safeguard the site as the National Park Service worked with the Trustees to purchase a conservation easement on the main 1200 acres of the ranch. The site is maintained in perpetuity as an example of turn-of-the-century, high-mountain ranching.

Personal tour was fabulous with lots of history of homesteading in the area! Everything in the house was immaculate and original! A must-see if you go to Estes Park! We loved it!

We took the 2 hour tour of MacGregor Ranch. Denny and Mike were very informative and interesting. Morgan is delightful and a great representative for the ranch. We enjoyed this little step back into CO history.

My husband and I were there on August 18. We arrived too late for the final tour. We were very pleasantly surprised when the lady giving the tours allowed us to go inside for a shortened version. She told us many stories and we enjoyed it greatly!!! Kudos to her for going above and beyond!! I LOVE historical things (like this place) and I would recommend it to every person. I am so grateful to the foundation for all the work put towards saving this ranch and preserving an important part of Estes Park history.
