  • A, Simply, spectacular place to spend the day!. With The Willamette river running, long side the lavish Rose Garden (the 🌹 are to die, for in late Spring, and Summer. The roses come in just about every color, and species you could imagine, Skinners Bute is picturesque... The Willamette has A couple "Top-Secret" ;) pockets, of warm water to swim at, also some good fishing upstream. The McKenzie, which runs through Neighbor Springfield, has A great Salmon route! "The Willamette Valley' is called that, for A reason. Eugene is surrounded by mountains, and covered in confers: pine and Cedar trees.. Some trees must reach 100' ?.. Thank you, for reading Maybe I got carried away, yet isn't the whole idea? ;) I was raised here most my life. I've lived in several other State, but always come back home. I love Oregon!
  • We grabbed a drink from our local dutch bros and my partner took me to this garden overlooking the river.Ill have to update with pics later but it's great to go in probably June/July when the roses are blooming right now everything is cut back but you can still see the beautiful vines trailing the gazebo and read rose varieties like hot cocoa. You can walk the path along the water and take a break at any of the many benches over looking the water. There was not many people and the staff we saw around the grounds were so kind.Id recommend not walking your pet here we left our dog home and I was glad as this is more for a leisure stroll and would be considered rude to have your pup pop a squat on a patch.
