  • Very nice Museum! Saturday's is Kids hands on projects!! 2:30 to 3:45 is Cajun Music with Local Three Peice Band. Open to the Public! After music is Food Presentation. Come taste a sample local Cajun Food. After the food tasting ,walk over to the Historic Liberty. From 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Local Bands play and Dancing is Encouraged !
  • This is a wonderful place to come experience the Cajun culture. Displays, videos, classes, and demonstrations are available that cover many aspects of the culture. Cooking, music, crafts, and the Cajun dialect of French are all discussed in these activities. Ms. A. Bellard proved to be especially informative and welcoming - thanks! If you are a visitor to the area and are curious about Cajun culture, or even if you are a local and want to find out more about your own history, I highly recommend using the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center as a resource.
