The Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway is a for-profit passenger tourist railway established by the late Robert Dortch, Jr. and his wife Mary Jane in 1981 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The railway offers one-hour excursion tours, a catered luncheon train and a catered dinner train - each lasting a little more than one hour, from April through October. It operates along 2.5 miles (4.0 km) of restored track right-of-way formerly belonging to the defunct Arkansas & Ozarks Railway Co - the last incarnation of the North Arkansas Line.Use our Eureka Springs online travel route planner to visit Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway on your trip to Eureka Springs, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.

We did not take a ride, but rather stopped here because it was so picturesque and contained some old train pieces and auxiliary items like a steam-powered tractor and rail inspection car... more »

Myself and a group of friends had an excellent time. Although the seats are assigned they actually made accommodations so that we all sat together or at the very least across from each other. I’m not a super picky eater but I really enjoyed my prime rib meal and the dessert at the end was a nice surprise. They have water, tea and wine but no soda products in case you want to know. That’s not a problem for me but a friend really wanted a coke and they didn’t have any. I imagine you can bring your own. The dinner train ride was very relaxing.

The ride was short and sweet. Staff was theatrical and warm. Gift shop prices are to be expected and they are generous with the amount of time they give you to board. Great time overall!
