Tour The Glades - Private Wildlife Tours, Everglades City

Great Kayaking trip. Wasn’t looking for the fastest ride or a tour on a time schedule. We were looking to take in the beauty and enjoy a personal adventure. Our young guide Cody, whom turned out to be - “a gentleman and local environmental scholar”, didn’t read from a script nor did he claim to know everything. Nobody likes a know-it-all, especially one that is wrong. However, he was quite knowledgeable. His personality quickly turned our excursion from a guided tour, to an interactive banter that quickly revealed his true knowledge of his local raising. With us he was quickly off script and it all became an afternoon between neighbors. As visitors we weren’t demanding or needy, which allowed him to be a guide rather than a sitter. Julie and I are in our fifties and left with a high regard for this young man in his early 20s.

My wife and I took the boat tour with Captain Logan and it was a wonderful experience. He is an enthusiastic and informative young man, passionate about his work and the area we were touring. We have never done a private tour before but are very happy we did and happy that Logan was our guide. He was so knowledgeable and could answer all our questions as well as giving us information that we did not know before. I would highly recommend Logan and your tour group. What a great morning and memorable experience!
