  • A neat site to see. Definitely worth a stop. Signs were informative and it was nice to see how large it is. In the dark, there are no lights, so try to get there during daylight.

  • It was cool to see how big the pipeline is. The interpretive boards were interesting to read. It is a small pullout along the freeway.

  • Watch out fer skeeterz!!!
  • This is basically a roadside attraction. Having only seen PBS and Modern Marvels shows about it, it's gratifying to see the actual pipeline up close and lay hands on it but other than a coupla plaques and two Pigs (which they used to send down the pipe to clean the inside) there's not much to see. That being said, it's interesting enough to make the short drive out of Fairbanks to touch it for bragging rights to your friends in the lower 48 :)
