We had an excellent time at Black Spruce. Got a chance to learn about Alaskan huskies and the Iditarod, then had a great sled.

Absolutely an amazing experience! Jeff and Katie are the sweetest ever! They tought us how to harness the dogs and hook them up, and we even got to do it ourselves! Jeff and Katie gave us so much information that was mind blowing! I loved how we got to interact with each and every dog! They take absolutely amazing care of there dogs and it’s so heart warming! 100% recommend!

Black Spruce Dog Sledding is the best experience I had in Fairbanks! The dogs were so friendly. The guide was knowledgeable and introduced all we wanted to know about dog sledding. You can choose to either sit or stand on the sled, and the latter gives you the ability to help control the speed which I definitely enjoyed more. The view was great and the snow was shining like diamond on the path. Although it is a little bit far from the city, it is definitely worth the time and effort. It is not a simple sitting-in activity but an unforgettable interaction with dogs and nature. 100% recommend and don’t miss this!
