Fairbanks Children's Museum, Fairbanks

Fairbanks children's museum hosted a highland dance concert tonight. The return of monthly concerts at the museum are such a celebrated event that all of Fairbanks should rejoice in. This night a month where the talents, passions and culture of Fairbanks can come to our children of all ages. To bring them these experiences to their level in a safe and fun setting is wonderful. Each concert is entertaining but also educational as the performers intentionally take time to explain dance origin, instruments, dance moves and what it takes for the children in the audience to become a performer. There are many reasons to have a children's museum membership if you have children of any age in Fairbanks but the concerts are certainly the icing on the cake. I am so so thankful for the museum and the wonderful experiences it has brought all of my children over the years. Thank you to the staff and performers for the return of these wonderful experiences. We are already looking forward to next month.

This is so fun for the kids. It keeps them entertained with a vacuum tunnel for yarn balls, and a tree house jungle gym and other fun crafty activities to encourage lots of creativity. It reasonably priced especially if you get a year membership. Recommend especially for the winter months when it may be to cold to be outside.
