  • Small, but full of local information, history and the heart of Fairbanks. A nice gift shop and we were lucky to have a pop up boutique of local native goods when we were there.

  • Has a lot of history about a couple of events in Fairbanks, and a free walk-around is worth spending the hour.

  • It's free and has lots of cool photos and items from local history. Its worth a visit.
  • Although the museum’s setting is nothing fancy, I was impressed by the content. I liked the display about Togo the dog, the exhibit about the 1967 Fairbanks flood, the story of Irene, the “queen of Fairbanks,” and more—including the original newspaper cuttings of coverage on the 1964 Great Earthquake and the 1989 Valdez oil spill.
