  • We had so much fun panning for gold. The staff was so helpful teaching us! The premises and workers followed covid protocols which made us safe but we could unmask safely at our own private table. I.....  more »
  • Had a great time panning first gold. Lisa and Zoe were super helpful. They made our visit there informative and fun. We even got to pet malamute puppies:)  more »
  • Stopped by today for about 2.5 hours and had a GREAT time! Awesome gift shop and for 20 dollars you can pan all day! They offer other bags that have a better chance of nuggets and such. I got some really decent flakes from the dirt pile and a huge(huge to me lol) nugget from one of the upgrade bags. I 100 percent recommend taking a day to go. Do not pass this one up. The panning demo was perfect and the staff was amazing, super helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. I will be going back a few more times while I am in Alaska. I've got Gold fever!
  • I've always wanted to try gold panning and we decided to stop here for the first time. We were greeted by friendly staff the moment we walked in and they answered all our questions about the process. Since it was already late in the day, we decided to come back the following day when they opened. The following morning, we returned, grabbed our bags, and went to it. They have staff on hand to give you an initial quick training demonstration, then let you pan for as long as you want. We could have stayed all day, it was so much fun! The staff walks around to check and see if you need any help while you are panning, which we were very thankful for. After the first few trips to the pay dirt pile, I was able to find gold all on my own. Once we were done for the day, we were able to put our gold nuggets and flakes into a very nice necklace. This will be added to our must do list every time we are in Fairbanks.
