  • Apparently, the public is welcomed to come walk the trails. It is free and a wonderful way for tourists to see local nature and get some exercise.

  • There are acres of trees and forest to hike or stroll in the snow. The lakes were frozen and most birds not back for the spring & summer.

  • Cool little slice of heaven in the city. Heavy moose activity judging by the piles of moose poo everywhere. That didn't deter us from liking to visit every day of our trip to look for them. The locals who use the trails are friendly. Saw ducks, terns, grebes and red squirrels.
  • 0 bug bites so that's a win. Saw not very much but it is a nice little walk. Maybe there is some cool wildlife at the right times.
