Many of the sites have views of the lake. But the lake is not accessible from the sites due to very tall weeds unless one hacks oneself a kayak path. Which some have done. There are no sites with... more »
I have to say the fishing disappointed me. Only 3 small spots to bank fish. When it's crowded it makes it hard to fish if everyone is in 3 area's. Didn't catch a thing. It would be nice to have more bank fishing spots. It was my first time there and I'm not sure if I'll ever be back. I just went to fish! I can't speak on anything else.
Had a really good time here at the Fairfield Lake State Park. Kid friendly they got to swim, Fish, trailing. We were here for two days and one night. We got to camp out which it was my nephew's first time doing that. They had a lot of fun. It was quiet at night and it was really hot inside the tent so I recommend you bring a fan if you decide to come check it out. There's lots of different things for the kids to do. They even have different playgrounds for the kids if they don't want to go swimming. One of the things I liked about it was the hiking trail even though we didn't do the whole trail cause the kids got tired. Make sure you take plenty of water to stay hydrated it.
