  • Surprisingly moving experience thanks to thoughtful and comprehensive explanatory displays for exhibit on internment era.  more »
  • Amazing! A beautifully cultivated space, with dozens of incredible bonsai specimens. Plaques describe the trees in detail; their history, the techniques used to shape them, etc. Nestled in a serene forested area, it presents a wonderful opportunity to see these fantastic miniatures juxtaposed beside their giant kin. It's like taking a walk through time, seeing through the eyes of a giant, and guided by the artistic genius of bonsai masters.
  • A beautiful collection from around the world are on display in an open air exhibit. A gravel footpath takes you through a forested park that seems miles away from the noise of the city and freeway that surround it. Guided tours available on Sundays as well as groups by appointment or stroll leisurely on your own. Either way it'll be an enjoyable experience. I personally look forward to repeating this experience multiple times in the future.
