  • My step-daughter is in a wheelchair but loves to ride. The staff were so kind and helpful - they got her up the mounting block and on her horse with no problems! Then we had a super time on our one ho...  more »
  • We never sat on a horse before, so excited we were. We were first introduced to very few guidelines for how we control the horse, then a few trips on a training course and then off. It's a perfect way to get close to nature and where you don't meet others. There is quiet, wild, beautiful, raw and the air is quite clear and clean. It is not wide paths you ride on, but through the raw nature where the horse really comes to work-we felt however all the time that it was safe. We had our 10 yearly daughter with and it was also a great experience for her.

  • Horseback riding with Larry was a blast! We went there back in September, and promised we would post a review, so here it finally is. Though the horses knew the road like the back of their hands (hoofs) and weren’t exactly rodeo steeds, as Europeans we actually felt a bit like travelling back to the Old West ;-). Trotting over narrow forest paths and through trinkling streams on those magnificent animals was an awesome experience! When searching for a horseback ride near Yosemite, this is the perfect choice.
  • This is a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to everyone/anyone who wants to try it. We contacted them last minute on the day we wanted to ride, and the staff was incredibly helpful in booking last minute. The drive up to the ranch area is beautiful. We got there and were quickly fitted and ready to start training. The staff was absolutely incredible training our kids (7 and 8 years) and answering their questions (no matter how ridiculous the questions were). So patient and helpful. The ride was beautiful, and safe, considering the bumpy terrain. This family is doing a fantastic job. Beautiful horses. Thank you Larry and Haydon!! PLEASE TIP THEM, THEY DESERVE IT.
