  • It was a fantastic experience! Once in a lifetime. The crew was amazing as was our pilot! He gave us step by step instructions on what would happen and took pictures!  more »
  • This was a spectacular experience! Arrived and set out to the launch site. All aboard! Time to take in the tranquility that is balloon travel! It was truly mesmerizing! I would recommend this...  more »
  • We had to reschedule 4 times due to the weather - please go into this experience knowing that weather controls your entire day. If the weather is bad, it will get pushed and pushed and pushed... My main issue was my fiance and I couldn't stand directly by each other during the flight. We had a 4 foot barrier between us. This was my birthday present (which they knew) and I had people who were sisters who got to stand right next to each other but not us? I know it sounds Petty but it was supposed to be a romantic evening, we had a great dinner at a small Italian place and then we're going on our first hot air balloon ride together. well I'm 5 feet tall so I couldn't even really hold his hand over the barrier... A major issue for me is that we could not hear or talk to our pilot. He was on the opposite side of the largest balloon basket available, and no there was not a Mike on the pilot like their comment says. They talk when it is relatively quiet, but our pilot was very soft-spoken. It's not a bad thing but when you're so far away from him, you do not get to hear the cool stories. now this is something they cannot control, but Indiana is such a boring landscape. And depending on your weather and the directions of the wind, it can drastically change your flight. We only get to see corn fields and in the very far off distance the Indy skyline... We did see a horse farm, I would recommend the hot air balloon ride, just in a better location, like Napa Valley. Indiana is just a flat landscape and since they cannot control where you actually fly because you drift with the wind. That is something that they do not explain very well online, they cannot control the direction of the wind so you will go where the wind takes you! That is not something I had even considered! So we were looking forward to going over the reservoir or towards downtown but that's not where the winds took us lol. That being said - Good people, I feel that if I was in a different balloon I would have had a much different experience. Some balloons only hold four passengers which really changes the experience. So if you do book, make sure to ask for a small balloon. and just know that you can't control the weather or the directions of the wind. But it gets really frustrating, this was planned for May and we didn't get to go until July. and the cancellations are pretty last minute. One time we were in the car driving up North and got the call.... just understand that you have to be very flexible. I hope that you guys do this and love it, but my experience was frustrating.
  • Very safe and reliable company. Was a great Christmas gift idea!
