As a gentleman's farm, much of the Mott's food was grown on the grounds, and its barns housed horses, cows and chickens. Today it encompasses the original home and barns, 34 acres of stately trees, expansive lawns, flower-filled gardens and the heritage apple orchard for which it was named. Admission and activities are free!

  • Beautiful house and gardens. Unfortunately we could only view the first floor, each room roped off. We had to wear masks inside the house without air conditioning. It was hard for me because of my heart condition. But, the complete self tour is free!! Very sweet volunteers. Well worth the time.
  • Very beautiful and well maintained. It's like taking a trip back in time to when Mr. Mott and his family enjoyed the land. It's free to get in Thursday through Sunday. The gardens are open each of those days and the house is only open on weekends.
