Need a break from the rush of daily life? Go back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler. Welcome to Crossroads Village. It's an authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the last century, with over 34 historic structures and a thriving community to welcome you. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of our craftspeople. It’s a place out of history where you can make a little history of your own. And it’s just around the corner. At your Genesee County Parks.

  • Traveling from Detroit to Traverse City we just found this place on a trip advisor search. What a gem! We all enjoyed the village, the friendly people there and a lovely late afternoon train ride...

  • A lovely place to visit for enjoying holiday spirit. The train ride was fun as we got to see several light displays along the ride, old time holiday songs playing and a very cozy coach! Masks are required on the train. The walk in the village is fun for older kids but with toddlers a little difficult… but they can enjoy the carousel, popcorn, hot cocoa and lighted pathways.
  • Attended “Day out with Thomas” yesterday and had an awesome time! First time visiting Crossroads Village and was impressed with all the different sites to see, along with fun rides for the kids. Our 2 year old loved the train ride with Thomas. We were very impressed with all the Thomas activities set up throughout the village for kids to do. A great experience and we will likely come back each year for this event! Would recommend as a fun day event for others to experience!
