Need a break from the rush of daily life? Go back to a time when things were a whole lot simpler. Welcome to Crossroads Village. It's an authentic Great Lakes town from the turn of the last century, with over 34 historic structures and a thriving community to welcome you. Ride the Huckleberry Railroad, catch a show at the Colwell Opera House or learn a trade from one of our craftspeople. It’s a place out of history where you can make a little history of your own. And it’s just around the corner. At your Genesee County Parks.

  • We went during the Christmas season to see the Christmas lights. The train ride was set to the 12 days of Christmas song. Night time is the best time to see the lights. The town was decorated with lights and was very beautiful. We also had a buffet dinner. It was very tasty and was done kinda home style . All and all it was a very enjoyable trip to the crossroads village. Surprisingly the hole experience was very affordable.
  • I volunteered here when I was 15 years old as this place was opened the Summer I Turned 4 and has been a staple in our community. It is a very inexpensive place to take your family it is only open seasonally and if you go you must ride on the Vintage train. A few years ago I began volunteering there again as a Flint River spinner and I have learned how to operate a spinning wheel and have made friends that will last a lifetime. I highly recommend this place for both local and visitors alike. If you come in the fall you may be able to catch them open for the trick-or-treating season. If you come in the winter there is no experience like Christmas at Crossroads. But my favorite season to visit this place is definitely summer please check the hours and make sure that this is a stop for you and your family to experience the memories will last a lifetime and you will walk away with an understanding of how your great-grandparents lived as there's no McDonald's in this Village
