Rocky Gap Casino Resort, Flintstone

Great hotel/spa/casino in Western Maryland. Stayed here for our anniversary and had a great time. The location is beautiful, perfect mountain scene to just sit and enjoy. The lake offers nice boating and hiking opportunities. The spa is very nice, friendly people and the prices are pretty cheap compared to other places back in the DC/Baltimore area. The casino is nice, clean, well run with a good offering of low minimum tables. The rewards program didn't do much for us, seems like you have to dedicate a considerable amount of money and time before you get anything in return. The $10 of free slot play was a nice bonus, but that's all we got out of it. The rooms are very nice, great views, well maintained...the shower we had was weird, why doesn't it have a door? While staying here, be sure to check out the area. Cumberland and Frostburg are pretty neat, including the Western Maryland Scenic Railway. I was surprised that one of my favorite parts of the trip was just sitting around and taking in the view. Sometimes we forget how nice it is to have nothing to do. Overall, we really liked our stay and will be planning to return, maybe next time to see the fall colors.

One of my favorite casinos to go to. Cheap minimum bets on tables and lots of slots to choose from. It’s not to big so easy to get around without getting lost. Smoking only permitted outside on balcony that has its own slot machines. Great room prices and a beautiful park and lake to enjoy with the family. Comedy shows, music and a gold course to boot. Check it out you won’t be disappointed
