  • Hidden history that needs care. More a spot for contemplation of the misery the soldiers endured. Worth visiting just to let more people know it was there.  more »

  • I was very disappointed after detouring off my route to see this famous historic site. The directions to get to the "visitor center"were not very helpful, and the visitor center was nothing more than a hornet infested kiosk. All the pamphlets were gone, so we ended up going the wrong way when trying to follow the trail around the stockade.
  • As a historian, I love the place and the history of it. I do believe there is so much potential for this location. More plaques, information, monuments, and publications is needed. I have been there many times, but it needs to be maintained more. I have offered to help many times. I enjoy giving people tours of the location and telling people the historical part of this location.
