  • I love this beach, it is easy to get to and it goes for miles in both directions. I also love that this beach does not get as crowded as some of the others we have been to in Florence.  more »
  • Lots of stuff to do and see here – you just have to keep walking. Gobs of loose sands start things off, but keep walking south and you find some harder patches that are easier to walk on, along with really trippy finds in winter. The cliffs hide their funky secrets too (look up the Upper Lane County Virtual Tour to see a huge amount of details). When sand levels get low, new rock structures poke up out of nowhere. The place really changes from season to season.
  • Great spot to play on the beach, fly a kite or beach comb. Pretty easy access to the beach with a very short(20ft?) but steep trail. It can sometimes be slippery but someone recently put gravel down which helps a lot. There is no bathroom so plan ahead if you intend the stay awhile. The best part is that the parking here is free!
