Steinhatchee is a quaint coastal community in the Big Bend of Florida. Fishing, scalloping (15 June - 10 September 2019), canoeing, kayaking, and purely enjoying God's creations are the main activities here in this "Old Florida" setting. Our population holds around 1200 with the exception of the scallop season. Then, the family fun vacations begin! Our small town grows by the thousands, and laughter fills the air! Such an exciting time for vacationers and locals alike. If you want to see what the thrill is all about, come to Steinhatchee this summer and book a scallop charter with Captain Crystal of Crystal Sea Charters!
This is where I grew up and retired to. I love this quaint little fishing village!
