  Take the Blue Ridge Parkway on a cute forest path and reach Rocky Knob, where you'll find this observation deck. The vast southwestern Virginia mountains are amazing. Take a break from the open point.

  Great place to stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lovely area, saw it as we were passing through on our way home. I wish we had more time here.  more »

  Great place to have a picnic and enjoy the outdoors. Lots of tables and they are spread out nicely to give you some privacy. They also have areas where the tables are close together for a larger groups. You can walk across the street and there is a beautiful overlook and you can see for miles. I was able to see 4 deer today as I hiked around the area. Just a awsome place.

  Beautiful atmosphere and love taking my children there because of the great selection of trails. My children always enjoy seeing all the different wildlife. A great way to get the kids to unplug and have real conversations.
