  • Nice open space for a picnic or just park your car and walk arounf Flushing on foot. I was thinking to buy some Chinese Food in Chinatown and bring them here to enjoy.

  • Flushing Meadows Corona Park is a large public park located in Queens, New York. Here is a brief review of the park: Pros: Variety of Attractions: Flushing Meadows Corona Park has a wide range of attractions, including the Unisphere, the New York Hall of Science, the Queens Museum, and the Queens Zoo. Visitors can easily spend a whole day exploring the park and its many offerings. Beautiful Scenery: The park features a large lake, beautiful fountains, and expansive fields that provide a peaceful and picturesque escape from the city. Sports Facilities: The park has many sports facilities, including tennis courts, baseball fields, and a skate park, making it a great place for sports enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite activities. Cons: Crowded: The park can get very crowded on weekends and holidays, especially during the summer months. This can make it difficult to find parking and enjoy the attractions without encountering large crowds. Poor Maintenance: Some parts of the park may not be well-maintained, with litter and debris sometimes visible on the ground. This can detract from the beauty and overall experience of the park. Limited Food Options: The park has limited food options, with only a few food trucks and stands available. Visitors may need to bring their own food or plan to eat before or after their visit. Overall, Flushing Meadows Corona Park is a great destination for anyone looking for a mix of attractions, sports facilities, and scenic beauty. While it can get crowded and some areas may not be well-maintained, the park's variety of offerings make it a unique and enjoyable place to spend a day.
  • Long gone is the Flushing Meadows park of years ago. It has changed, and a lot of it for the better. Bring your family for a walk, a bike ride, a run. Have a barbecue, or buy from many of the local vendors nearby. There is always something different to do there. With the Queens museum nearby, and the Hall of Science, it's an afternoon filled with sights and sounds. Watch a local team play football, or walk a little further and rent a kayak. There's just too much that is only limited by what you want to experience. My only caveat is that you leave before dark as it does tend to get dirty from everyone leaving their trash around, and all the bins overflowing with the day's refuse. Otherwise, it's a great spot to visit all year round.
