  • Nice walk on the beach, it’s February so the beach wasn’t crowded. It’s dog friendly and they have doggy waste bag stations.

  • Came here for a beautiful sunrise. Nice quiet and accessible beach. Parking available on the side of the road, with a pay machine to print out the prepaid parking slips. Beach is walkable with soft sand, and the occasional seashells.
  • Of all the beaches around Charleston, Folly has the most lively vibes if that's what you're looking for. The road that you enter the island on, is lined with restaurants and bars. It's small but there are lots of fun places to go! During the summer or on a warm day, traffic gets backed up if you don't head there before 11. Parking can also be tricky. We don't have great waves around Charleston, but if you want to surf, Folly is the place to go. The Washout, particularly!
