Pacific Star Winery, Fort Bragg

#3 of 21 in Wineries in Mendocino County
We are California's only ocean-side winery. We produce classic varietals from old Mendocino County Heritage vineyards that include Zinfandel, Charbono, Carignane, Petite Sirah & Barbera. From these we also produce blends unique to California; Dad's Daily Red, It's My Fault and Charbera. White wines include Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscato.

We are open Friday through Monday from 12 to 5 and can be found 12 miles north of the town of Fort Bragg at the 73.5 mile marker west of Coast Highway 1.

Bring a picnic lunch and stay awhile at our cliff-side picnic area, where you can see 75 miles of the northern California coastline and watch whales during the migration season.

  • I LOVED my visit! My mother and I had It’s My Fault which is a very lovely white. The views were stunning! I could have spent my entire day sitting by the ocean. It’s definitely worth the stop, I only wish I love closer so I could.
  • Stunning views from this winery. Tasting room has excellent service, and good pours, but please take a bottle out to the chairs along the bluff. And don't forget to try the Orange Muscat - you'll be pleasantly surprised! All their reds (that we tried) are easy drinking, and my husband fell in love with their Tempranillo. We will visit again.
