This exquisite home at 328 W. Mountain Ave. in Fort Collins, Colorado, was built in 1879 and was the family home of Franklin and Sara Avery and their three children. The home was built of sandstone from local quarries and includes a carriage house, large yard, gazebo, and fountain. The Avery House serves as a museum honoring life at the turn of the 19th century. From the greeting that we got, to the presentation of the room, and the bathroom, to the kitchen and how willing everyone was to make the experience. amazing as possible was astounding. The bed and the sheets were some of the most incredibly soft that I have felt in a long time coming from a bed-and-breakfast.
