  We stopped by here on the way from Checotah to Tahlequah and it was well worth it! Mr Reed in the visitor center was a wealth of knowledge and had so many little tidbits of history of the area too...  more »

  This is a great place to learn about American history in Oklahoma. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. The site dates back to 1845 and 1932.
