Punctuated by shops, restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues, Fort Lauderdale Beach stretches for over 11 km (7 mi) along the Atlantic Ocean. You can boat, windsurf, jet ski, snorkel, scuba dive, and fish, or simply pick a private spot on the golden sand and spend the day relaxing in and out of the turquoise waves. The popular beachfront contains over 3 km (2 mi) of continuous public beach, featuring staffed lifeguard towers. Near the beachfront you can also visit the city's renowned aquatics center, which notably contains two large swimming pools and a diving pool. Take a walk along the pedestrian beachfront promenade to see the famous wave wall, the area's signature attraction. So much better than Miami. One of the best beaches in florida with a retro vibe right across the street.

Fort Lauderdale Beach was cool and the beach was fine but there were a lot of dried seaweeds on the shore. It was great but you could find better beaches in Florida to be honest.

Miles of continuous sand beaches make this a very pleasant experience. The City of Fort Lauderdale has also made efforts to create dunes to protect against beach erosion. Some parts of the beach are more populated than others. If you are on the beach side of A1A you can walk or ride a bike the entire way.

Fort Lauderdale beach One of the most beautiful beaches to exist in the entire planet. One can easily debate how can just a beach be so different and beautiful and compared to other beaches, but what they fail to realise is what lies around the beach matters too. Fort Lauderdale is a bustling town with ever so humble people and full of culture. The beach road is lined with cool shacks and big big prestigious hotels that can cater to your wildest requests and host the most amazing parties you would have ever witnessesd. The beach itself is lined with beautiful lush green palm trees, that is perfect for photos and otherwise just guides you to the pristine white sand. The white walls that separates the road from the sand is divided into segments for tower areas with very thoughtful names and artistic gates. The water is clean all the year round. In monsoon months a number of turtle nests can be spotted. I was there at the fourth of July when the city hosted a beautiful concert with country and rock singers. I was also able to witness a turtle nest hatching which is beautiful. And at the night there were spectacular fireworks
