Create an itinerary including Intracoastal Waterway
A navigable inland waterway that runs 4,800 km (3,000 mi) along the Gulf and Atlantic coast, Intracoastal Waterway plays host to commercial and recreational vessels. Consider a boat tour--you can find excursions through the canals or swamp areas where ecosystems thrive. The waterway serves as a popular alternate when the seas are too rough for travel and also as a go-between for vessels on major U.S. rivers, like the Mississippi. • The riverwalk that runs along the waterway is very relaxing with many spots to sit and watch the boats go by. Take a tour to see all the mansions and yatches.
