  Walked the trail, really nice, 5,5 miles, historicoly, very interesting, when we came back by the entrance it was fenced off, bear warning, we were just in time, saw no bears, but we did have a bearbe...  more »

  The historical significance makes this an interesting hike, but it is not for the general population. Be prepared! It's hot, there are snakes and spiders, and it's a long time before you reach a marker. Definitely a fun challenge and the sink hole and homestead remains are worth the hike, but bring water!

  It was great hiking back in time! This place has such a rich history. Unfortunately most of town is gone but the sink hole was stunning. The cementery is well taking care. I definitely do not regret hiking it.
