The River District Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the development of the Historic River District in Fort Myers as a hub of economic, social and cultural activity. The River District Alliance is striving to give the Downtown River District area a voice to ensure its survival during this challenging economic time. Very nice area with tons of restaurants and bars. Bring your quarters for parallel parking. There’s a few spots that are free parking but hard to find on busy days.

Lots of unique shops and restaurants. Very pet friendly. We had a very nice afternoon just walking around taking it all in. The Ford Garage was interesting. An old car on a lift over tge bar and tire sinks with gas nozzle water spouts! Loved it!

A fun place to kill an afternoon or evening. Lots of happy hours, restaurants, shops, waterfront, and even a free outdoor concert when we went!
