Built at the birthplace of the U.S. Navy Frogmen, Navy Seal Museum houses exhibits that illustrate the role and history of underwater demolition teams and Sea, Air, Land teams (U.S. Navy SEALs)--one of the most elite fighting forces in the world. From 1943 to 1946, soldiers were trained at the site. Visit the museum to see artifacts and exhibits, such as the original obstacles from the Normandy landing preparatory trainings, boats used in Korea and Vietnam, vehicles from the Middle East, and a wall honoring Medal of Honor recipients. • Military buff? Or do you like history about Navy Seals?... Well, stop reading this and go check them out! A "must go" for any veterans, enthusiast, or just for fun. This place is amazing. The birthplace of the Navy Seal.
  • Its a nice museum. A lot of history of what many soldiers fault for to keep this nation free. Sad because they featured 911 and they even have a piece of medal from one of the NY twin towers. It's worth the visit and Veterans and law enforcement's gets a discount. There are videos as you walk through out the museum. When you're outside you'll see and can experience some of the military obstacle course training and military boats and tiny subs. Very interesting.
