  • We were advised to see this and we were glad we did. It is very well done and quite informative. There are so many truly amazing unsung heroes.

  • This entire town has such amazing history. The Milken museum was so very interesting. Loved hearing the stories of the Unsung Heroes from our knowledgeable guide who had only lived in Fort Scott...

  • We were pleased to find it open on a Saturday afternoon. (It seems like most small museums around here are only open when most people are working.) We were greeted by a lady upon entering who asked if we'd like her to share a little bit about how the museum got started. She did a wonderful job of telling us about the Irena Sandler story. From there we looked at the displays of other unsung heroes and the artwork by students around the world. Very well done museum! We would highly recommend spending an hour to explore and learn about the people it's about!
  • This is a wonderful museum for unsung heroes & their accomplishments. It is also kid friendly & my children enjoyed the scavenger hunt provided by the friendly & knowledgeable staff. They were learning while having fun. They learned about historical events that aren’t talked about regularly. The overall layout of the museum keeps you entertained from the moment you walk in the doors. I highly recommend checking it out.
