Famous for big fish, Okaloosa Island Pier draws fisherman and spectators alike to marvel at the fish that the Gulf of Mexico produces in this region. Large tuna, king mackerel, and cobia have been reeled in here. The pier extends more than 384 m (1,262 ft) into the ocean and serves as a great place to watch the sunset, observe those fishing, or catch glimpses of dolphins, stingrays, and sea turtles. You'll find a tackle shop on the pier, and if you forget your gear, you can rent equipment.  A beach grill is located at the end pier, and the Gulfarium next door hosts live marine mammal performances. There is a fee required to walk out onto the pier; it costs more if you would like to fish. • Amazing views! Our visit on the pier was very windy so there isn’t too much I can share other than the views were cool.

  • Very pretty to walk out to the pier and see all of the people fishing, the pretty water. It cost $2 a person 6yr and up but it’s something cool to see if you are in the area.

  • Great local pier. Cost $2 per person to walk to the pier kids 6 and under were free. $8 to fish off the pier. They did have discounts for certain things but didn’t take a picture(sorry). Got to see some sharks circling the pier! There was a dolphins cruising around. Also got to see a good sized sea turtle. Fishermen were pulling in some decent size catches that had the kids attention immediately. Great family walk through to spend an hour or two.
  • For 2 bucks you can walk the pier and see all types of sea life. Be careful of the guys fishing 🎣 they don't always look beforethe cast. We saw sharks 🦈, sea turtles, and dolphins 🐬. It was really cool. 100% worth it.
