Get a glimpse of 1,500 animals and 56 species from around the world at Fort Wayne Children's Zoo. The zoo spans 38 acres and contains four themed areas: the African Journey, Australian Adventure, Central Zoo, and Indonesian Rainforest. You can observe the creatures native to these biomes in the various exhibits throughout them. There are also several interactive exhibits, such as a trail where children can climb into a tree house, and a farm setting where kids can pet and play with cows, goats, donkeys, and more. Take a trip on the Sky Safari ride to get an aerial view of the zoo's landscape or hop on the Dugout Canoe Ride for a float down a canal. This is a very nice zoo, and I think you will enjoy going here. The zoo is clean, and the animals are well cared for. No matter how many times I visit this zoo, I always enjoy going there. more »

I took my grandkids who range from 12-6 months and we all had a fantastic time! We spent over 3 hours and still didn’t see everything! I bought them a year pass for Christmas and I know they will... more »

I love this zoo! It's definitely worth the membership if you live in the area. We go 20+ times a year. It is only open April through October, but it's open late Memorial Day through Labor Day. The evenings are the best times as the animals are more active and it's cooler and less busy. The great thing about the Fort Wayne Zoo is that most exhibits are stroller height so you don't have to keep getting your kids out to see, like the Indy zoo. Love, love, love my zoo!

We had a great day at the zoo. Changes since I was last there. Seeing the zoo with my 2 1/2 great niece was so much fun. She loved all the animals, the goats were her favorite. She's brushed every goat at least twice. Loved feeding them. She didn't want to leave, but the adults were tired after 3 1/2 hours. Food & drinks were expensive. $15 for 4 bottles of water.
