Livestock Exchange Building Reviews
An impressive building in the stockyards area. There is a small museum and other businesses inside. There were vendors and games set up on the lawn. more »
We walked through here to go to the Stockyard Museum. It's a beautiful building that still houses offices for various businesses. When we were there, there was a cattle auction going on that was... more »
Great outdoor experience!!! Family friendly and nice community and restaurants, bars, shops, and dance clubs to choose from! A nice western experience... you can ride the train to/from Grapevine to enjoy the views and weather or choose the first class experience for the AC/heater option. Different activities to choose from which include but are not limited to rodeo events, petting zoo, riding ponies or a horse, a maze, or riding a longhorn for a picture ($5 usually), and just watch them going down the street at 11:30am and 4pm Have fun!! It would be nice for a date as well 💕
If you are anywhere near the Fort Worth Stock Yards it's worth a visit. There's so much history throughout the venue and most of it is free. Walk thru all the buildings, even the arena, which is free during the day when no events are going on. There's a cattle drive twice a day. You really get up close and personal with the Longhorns. If you get there early enough there's free parking on the street. Otherwise it's about $12 for the lots that are right on property. If you park free, just watch your time. There's a two hour limit.
