What a hidden gem! We went in the dead of winter, even then it was fascinating. You feel like you’re in a whole other world and while I’m no fan of “pioneer living,” our kids and we were intrigued by all the old houses and reenactments. Makes you appreciate modern life! Will return when the weather is nice. Lots of special events, check out their calendar.
Took my children on a whim. Wow!!! We had a blast! The people who work there was so nice and knowledgeable! The cabins are in great shape and to actually show my daughter's how people in the old days lives and have such friendly staff on hand to answer any and every question was great. This is a must do if you are in the area
